Firstly, I was really surprised by my interest in the book. I didn't feel like it was something I'd go back and read again, but I did enjoy the things he said though I felt he was a little redundant toward the middle of the book.
Like I said at the beginning of this blog, I am not really a NEW MEDIA type of gal. But, I suppose that after this class, and with the reading of Pink's book... I've come around a little and have found myself becoming more and more interested in the new ways of thinking.
In fact, I've even decided to incorporate some of these ideas into my other work, which is usually really traditionally based.
I enjoyed his style of writing, mostly because it is much like my own. It was very "stream of consciousness" ish and I really liked the way the book flowed, though as I've sai before, I did feel some of it was a little drawn out at parts.
His activities in the last few chapters were actually really inspiring and helped me to think in different ways about the objects around me, especially the activity we did for homework in which I had to go through the things I owned and actually think about what I like about them and how they effect me and how I feel about them.
