did the presentation hold my attention?
actually, i found this presentation really interesting. i love the website. it's very simple and the presentation continued this theme, lots of videos and less talking. just enough talking to keep me paying attention.
do i have a clear understanding of the artist's work from the presentation?
yes, the artist's work is very clear, and very interesting. i don't like that he has to attach cameras to animals, but... as long as he's not hurting them, he's only spreading information, which is something i am never against. the point of view of animals is really interesting and teaches us about how they live and go about their day. i also like how he has connections to more scientific things, like the "animal planet" because this crosses, and even melds a line. of course it's still art. of course he's still creating something aesthetic and thought provoking. the two words are not as far away from eachother as we think.
would this presentation work for any audience?
i think if it was tweaked a little, but not much. his work is universal. nearly everyone thinks about where animals go and how they react to the world and each other when we're not around. little children would enjoy his work and as long as meridith and gina included a lot of videos, kept the droning down (which they did 'thanks') and the lights were on i think that yes, this could work for anyone.
